Miniroos – Female
The Centre of Excellence program is in line with the FFA SAP and the National Curriculum that focuses on the 4 main core skills.
Our Spring Program for 2016 is organized and run by the Senior Head Coach Socrates Nicolaidis.
Will combine the FFA National Curriculum and the world’s best practices from countries that have been developing their players over the last 10 years namely Belgium, Spain, Holland, Germany into a fun filled sessions that involve touching the ball over 500 times per session.
Tuesdays we will use the Skills Acquisition Program (SAP), as recommended by Football Federation Australia and FFV. SAP sessions will focus on one of the four core skills; First Touch, Running With the Ball, 1v1 and Striking The Ball (passing, crossing low and high & finishing in front of goals)
Thursdays will give players the chance to test themselves within small-sided games that will include 2v2 & 3v3 to 4v4 & 5v5 .
We will also include Balance, Co-ordination, fast foot work, speed ladder and juggling.
The games will allow players to play and learn in an environment resembling “street football” with many more touches on the ball than an 11v11 game.
