South Melbourne FC has decided it could not accept the invitation of the Football Association of Singapore to participate in the 2012 RHB Singapore Cup.
Regrettably, the timetable of this year’s RHB Singapore Cup and the Club’s commitments to the Victorian Premier League and State Knock Out Cup have made it untenable for South Melbourne to commit to the competition. The Football Association of Singapore understands South Melbourne’s position, and will continue to keep in close contact with the Club with a view to South Melbourne’s participation next year.
South Melbourne FC wishes all participants in the 2012 RHB Singapore Cup and the Football Association of Singapore all the very best for a successful tournament.
