UNDER 9’s -Coach Mr. George Stefanos

Thank you to George, a first year coach at South Melbourne, for forming this team from a collection of new and old South players and building a successful unit with this team at very short notice. This was our youngest team at the club this season and the most enthusiastic. It is great to see the boys put on the famous blue and white for the first time and wear it with pride. The boys were very well coached in the basics required to progress to the higher levels. They got better and better as the season progressed and generally outclassed their opposition even defeating a team that had not lost for 2 seasons 3-0. We look forward to 2009 and their transition to playing on a full sized pitch. Well done boys.
