In the second instalment of this series, smfc.com.au has managed to catch up with the hard working Gianni De Nittis.

De Nittis made his debut for the club back in 2005, with the
youngster playing 8 games in a year that would prepare him for the
championship season that followed.

In 2006, De Nittis made his mark on the VPL, playing 21 senior
games for South and scoring on 8 occasions, including vital finals
goals against Altona Magic in both the semi final and Grand Final.

His 2008 form to date has been exceptional, scoring on 6 occassions
so far this season and playing a major part in a number of others.

With a massive end-of-season stretch appraoching, De Nittis will be
looking to find the back of the net on a few more occasions to help his
side reach the top six playoffs.
