South Melbourne FC would like to invite you to the end of season Gala Ball, to be held at Lakeside Events Centre (formerly Albert by the Lake) on Saturday 14th December. This will be the first gala event held at Lakeside Stadium since the 2009 Season Launch, which kicked off the Club’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
The main highlight will be celebrating the 2013 Theo Marmaras Medal winner and VPL Goalkeeper of the Year Peter Gavalas, along with the team’s tremendous efforts throughout the season to reach the Preliminary Final.
As part of the evening, a sumptuous three-course meal, with beer, wine and soft drink will be provided. It promises to be a memorable night as we draw the curtain on a successful season. Actor and comedian Simon Palomares will be performing at the Gala Ball, and will certainly provide the highlight of the night. He has just returned from Montreal, Canada where he was invited to perform at the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.
