South Melbourne meet Hume City for the second time this season with South looking to maintain the lead at the top of the table following their 2-0 victory over the Melbourne Knights, while Hume City will be aiming to secure maximum points also after their narrow 1-0 victory over Heidelberg United.

Coming from a 0-0 draw with Avondale, Hume City were able to secure all three points las weekend after their narrow 1-0 victory over the Bergers courtesy of a second half goal to Ofli in the 65th minute. In eighth position and only four points behind sixth spot, Hume City will be will need maximum points to keep in touch.
South Melbourne (WWLWW)
Coming from an emphatic 5-1 victory over the North Geelong Warriors, South were able to secure a 2-0 victory over the Melbourne Knights after a first half goal to Schroen in the 28th minute and a second half goal to Lujic in the 88th minute. Now sitting on top of the table courtesy of goal difference, South will striving to hold onto top spot with three points against Hume City away from home.
The last time these two teams met was in Round 10 this year where South Melbourne secured a narrow 1-0 victory Hume City at Lakeside Stadium.
South Melbourne have won four of the past five matches against Hume City.
