Commercial & General announced as 2019 Major Sponsor
South Melbourne FC is proud to unveil Commercial & General as the club’s Major Sponsor for the 2019 National Premier Leagues season.
The partnership will provide Commercial & General prominent exposure associated with the South Melbourne brand. Our members, supporters and the broader football community will see the Commercial & General logo on the home and away playing shirt for our senior teams, on signage around Lakeside Stadium and across our digital media platforms.
Commercial & General will be a familiar brand to those around the club as they are an existing sponsor and corporate partner.

Commercial & General Director Tass Roufos has had a long affiliation with South Melbourne FC and he reflected on his links to the club saying “I have always held a close connection to the South Melbourne Football Club. I first came here as a school boy playing soccer on a school exchange program with Wesley college. It was a time when I made many friends through football, including the club’s Senior Football Manager Peter Kokotis.”
“At that time, I had the opportunity to play against the likes of former South Melbourne player George Kalogeros and I billeted with the Lambropoulos family, who now proudly have their grandson Perry about to debut for the senior team.”
