Bray signs 2-year-deal at South Melbourne

South Melbourne FC can confirm the signing of experienced goalkeeper, Alastair Bray on a 2-year-deal.

Alastair joins South Melbourne after a distinguished career across the A-League, and NPL Victoria.

After playing at Bentleigh Greens, he was given his first opportunity with a senior deal at the Central Coast Mariners.

A move back to Melbourne beckoned as the young shot stoppper caught the eye of Melbourne Victory, where injuries hampered his playing opportunities.

South Melbourne are pleased to announce the signing of a determined young keeper, which adds a missing piece to the puzzle, following the outgoing Nikola Roganovic, who yesterday announced his retirement from football.

Speaking to smfc.com.au, Director of Football, Nicholas Malkousis, had this to say on the new addition: “Alastair brings with him a winning mentality, and a wealth of experience in Victoria, and the A-League. We’re excited to have his leading qualities in goal for the 2018 season and beyond.”
