The South Melbourne Womens Football Club is urging all South Melbourne fans to get along to Bob Jane Stadium on Friday night, as the club plays host to Keilor Park under lights in a much anticipated match. With the men playing away on Sunday against Whittlesea at Epping Stadium, all South fans are encouraged to also support the girls in achieving a victory at lakeside.
The senior side has started the season in an inconsistent fashion, although potential was shown in the 6-1 annihilation of Gippsland in their opening game of the season. With the side sitting just outside the top six, a win against Keilor will boost confidence and move the team up the table. Kick off is at 8.30pm, with the social club open before and after the game.
