South Melbourne FC in association with Canvas Media is proud to announce that SMFC TV on Channel 31 will return in 2011 to a brand NEW time slot.
SMFC TV has moved to the new time slot of Wednesday 7pm, with a replay of the program each Saturday morning at 9am.
The first episode of SMFC TV is scheduled for TONIGHT – Wednesday 23rd February.
The show will continue to provide match highlights, player and coaching staff interviews, showcase our junior development program and stars of tomorrow. Furthermore, SMFC TV will focus directly on bringing the latest news from the club, as well as providing all South Melbourne FC and general football fans with a modern and fresh view of the club.
The show is to be produced by Paul Zarogiannis from Canvas Media. Canvas Media produced SMFC TV in 2010, who also travelled to Singapore to cover all the action from the RHB Singapore Cup.
Club President, Leo Athanaskis speaking to smfc.com.au said “We are extremely delighted with the news that SMFC TV has secured a prime time slot on Channel 31, only days after the match has been played. SMFC TV provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the club to a wider audience, and with the move to Wednesday nights, we expect the number of viewers of the show to increase substantially. We are equally pleased to be working again with Canvas Media this season.”
