South Melbourne meet Alamein for the third time this season with South Melbourne looking to continue on their winning ways following their narrow 2-1 victory over Southern United, while Alamein will also be looking for maximum points following their 1-0 win over Heidelberg United last weekend.

The girls are in good form at the moment with four wins in the past five matches including a narrow 2-1 victory over Southern United last weekend. Currently in first position and two points clear of Calder United on top of the table, the girls will be striving to continue their ascendancy on top of the table with three points against Alamein at home on Sunday afternoon.
Coming from a 2-0 win against the Bulleen Lions, Alamein were able to continue on their winning ways with a narrow 1-0 win over Heidelberg United last weekend courtesy of Schreuder in the 73rd minute. Having already beaten South in 2017,
Alamein will be looking towards causing another upset.
The last time these two teams met was in Round 15 this year where South Melbourne secured a 3-1 victory over Alamein at AAMI Park.
